About me
My name is Jean-François Durocher, if you are wondering how to say my name, as you can see on this blog header it goes like this: (Gen-fran-so-aw Du-ro-shay) I’m 26 years old.
I work at Tecksoft as CTO and Co-Founder (The other guy is Mathieu Néron @mneron), my role there is to introduce new technologies and integrate them with Tecksoft products. I also am the medical device integration specialist. Medical integration specialist? Well yes, I don’t think there is any official title linked to that job but I am in charge of having any medical device sent as much information as possible to us to then be able to use it for patient care and analysis purposes.
The best thing about this job is the fact that each time a new machine arrives on the market, I usually get to play with it, and understand its inner working, maybe it doesn’t sound much fun, but when I think how much time an engineering team put into these life saving machines it gets pretty interesting.
Beside my job, I have a normal family life with my fiancé, my little boy and girl. I write this blog in hope of getting better in my writings in english and french since practice makes us better! I also write this blog to share bit and parts of my life with whomever want to know more about me, my passions and challenges.
